Since I haven't posted...

I have been soooo busy lately! Seriously!!! But here is a little clip that Jeremy and I were talking about when we went walking. Hilarious! I love Seinfeld.

Lagoon

Over in Pioneer Village after we got all wet on the Rattle Snake Rapids (or is that what it's called somewhere else?)

Ok... so we went to Lagoon in August, but I wanted to post these pictures. It was fun going with Joey and Nadia. I love those guys!

Nutmeg Chicken Noodle?

So, I was feeling all happy making homemade chicken noodle soup in the crock pot and finishing the last finishing touches of adding some spices and flavor. I kept tasting it, thinking that I had been putting Lawry's Salt in the soup and after dumping a large amount of it in to the soup, found that I had instead grabbed the nutmeg bottle, which looks almost identical to the Lawry's Salt bottle. :( Needless to say, I had to dump all of it out.

"RED"

Ok... So Teagan was watching the "Baby Van Gogh - Baby Einstein" (learning about colors) and they were saying, "Red - Red" and then Teagan said it. I swear!!! He said it 2x. But, I've never been able to get him to say it again.

Oquirrh Temple

We were fortunate enough to make it over to the Oquirrh Temple open house. Wow! What a beautiful temple. Very small, but b-e-a-utiful! I hope we can make it up there soon to do a session. I would love to sit and.... well, just sit and think in there and just enjoy it.

7 Months Old & 2 New Toothies

Great Grandma Marsha took the pictures below at Erika & Matt's Bridal Shower. I was so glad she did because we didn't take the time out to take very many pic's of Teagy this month.

Cute little chunker-meister! I was trying to take the following pic's to show you his 2 newest teeth on the bottom. The flash must've been really weird because all the pictures are really blurry. But at least you can still see those 2 toothies coming in.






My in-laws already have fun toys for Teagan to ride when he gets a little bigger.

I just can't get over how big of a kid Teag is. Little did I know 7 months ago that he'd be almost the same size he is right now at 14 months.
I sure love this little kid!

6 Months Old

Teag had his 6 month appointment and check up. He weighed in at 19lbs 6oz and is 27 3/4 inches long. He's wearing 12 month old clothes already. Wowza! I thought we had enough clothes to last him a whole year and I was way wrong. Also, since he's grown so fast, I have the sizes and seasons of clothes mixed up, so we've had to buy him more clothes. He only had 12 month old winter clothes and they are of course too warm to wear in 100 degree weather.

I still can't get over how Teagan is already half way to his 1st Birthday. It's going by so fast.

2 Trips in 2 Weeks

So we packed in a fun filled summer in 2 weeks. We told Grandma Vanda we'd come and visit her in Twin Falls, ID and decided to take little Ashy along with us to visit too. Ashy was so good the whole trip and was very helpful with Teagan. It was Teagy's first road trip and of course he was teething with his first little tooth which came through while we were there. So, it was a little harder with the teething. He also learned to roll over during this trip, so we had some major milestones during the trip.

We got to go see the Twin Falls while we were there. OMG! They were beautiful! The pictures don't do them justice of the grandeur we saw. We were getting soaking wet from all the water that was in the air. Here are a couple of pic's we took at the look out.





Then with in a couple days of us getting back from Twin Falls, we were on our long awaited trip to Bear Lake for the 4th of July. We had been planning this trip for a year. It was nice to be able to invite our family and friends up to stay with us. Unfortunately we didn't take very many pictures. Thank you to Joey and Nadia for the couple of snap shots they took on their phone.

We got to stay in our time share and it was freaking AWESOME! This was our first time to use it, so we weren't sure what to expect, but we reserved the 3 bedroom/2 bathroom Pent House Suite and it was bigger than our house. It was almost 2000 square feet with fireplace, full kitchen, full furnished with all amenities including cooking/eating utensils, washer/dryer, BBQ'r, you name it. It had a balcony that had a great view of the lake and lots of room for everyone's stuff.

Teagy took his first boat ride. We also found that he gets very sea sick like his mom. He had a blank stare the way I do when I feel motion sick. To say the least, mom and Teagy didn't stay long on the boat with everyone.

The boat ride was very eventful. Jeremy broke boat propellers and had to get the fixed. And everyone else got to ride on water weenies and knee boards. Then on another day we got jet ski's to race around on. After our bad boat experience though, I don't think that we will ever get one again.

We went on a family trip in these little self propelled bike carts (i can't remember what they are really called). It was funny! Each family (The Green's, The Humpherys' and The Calls) had their little cart and we pedaled hard ... all the way to get Bear Lakes famous raspberry ice cream. ha ha Teagy got to ride in the front basket. I couldn't stop laughing. PS. Yes, I know I look terrible.


(I'm not sure why I don't know where any of the other pictures are... these are the only one's I could find from both of the trips. Sad.)

It was fun to hang out at the lake with friends for the last part. The Humpherys family including the grandparents came up for the first part of the week and then Nate stopped by because he happened to be up there at his family's cabin and Angie & Bear and Joey & Nadia came up to chill and eat food and stay a few nights with us. We had soooo much food! I made lots of casseroles to bring up. I wish I would've taken a picture of how packed everyone's car was. I planned on feeding an army for a week so I can't explain to you how much food I made and how many drinks and snacks we brought with us; not to mention the games and entertainment we packed along. At any rate, we had a really great experience and hope to make it a tradition. I think everyone had a good time too!

The King is Dead

Well, the Kig of Pop is dead! What a shocker. We were on our trip to Bear Lake and watched his funeral service over the weekend. When we found out we were in Twin Falls, ID we listened to Michael J songs all the way home. I don't really have a lot of thoughts on the whole Michael thing, other than it's weird how big he was world wide and my kids will not even have been around to know the legacy when he started out big. I hope that they still know and appreciate his music though.

Eating

So the video I took is too large to load, but here are a couple of video shots of Teagan gagging when I fed him rice cereal for the first time. He didn't like it very much. He started to gag every time I even showed him the spoon. It was so dang funny!

Bit Blogged Out

Well, if you're reading this then you have found that I have gone private now. I just don't know how much I like my biz being out there for just anyone to read, so I decided to see how the private blogging bit goes. :)

So, I'm feeling a bit blogged out lately and haven't been up to doing it. I have a lot to blog about though and want to up date it (hopefully soon). We are going to be very busy in the coming month. I feel like it never stops for us. Jeremy said the other day that he keeps waiting for things to slow down but realizes that it will never happen as long as he married to me. ha ha (which is now officially "forever")!!! A time line of all the events that have happened since we met to give you an idea:

Aug 2007: Don't even know Jeremy
Sept 2007: Meet him but don't like him
Oct 2007: Go out on our first date
Dec 2007: Dating seriously and then engaged
{working/convention, planning a wedding, bridal shower, engagement/bridal pictures, meeting with vendors, planning and stressing!!! Jeremy has surgery on both knees, vacation and everything in between}
April 2008: Married & Pregnant
{Baby Shower, Shopping, Planning, No more working, Combining finances/housing/"STUFF", spring cleaning for a year}
Dec 2008: Baby Teagan Born
{New life, new everything and no sleep}
Mar 2009: Baby Blessing
April 2009: My Endowment
June 2009: Temple Sealing

...then I think every one of our friends have either gone through the temple or gotten married or about to get married since April or are pregnant (more bridal & baby showers)

We are traveling to Idaho in a couple weeks and then a few days after we get home are off to Bear Lake for the 4th of July for the whole week with the fam.

Oh and I started a business and am just waiting to get my business license in the mail. (more to come on that when more of it is in place)

AND, the big kicker that came out of no where is that we have felt really good about looking for a new home and started the search, have already found "the one" and are now putting our house up for sale this week. But, with the way the economy is, who knows what will happen. We are just trying to do our part and leaving up what is supposed to be, up to the Lord. So, we'll see...

Temple Sealing

Our little family was sealed on Friday, June 5th 2009 in the Manti, Utah Temple. This was one of the most special and amazing days I have truly ever had. I wish that I could get sealed to all of my kids individually. All of the temple workers made us feel so important. They were waiting for us when we got there with so much excitement... However, I personally think its because all of the women are elderly and knew that we had a baby coming in with us to be sealed that day. They have a little nursery for children and infants when days like this happen and the temple workers got to take Teagan and get him dressed and ready to bring him into the sealing room when we were ready. So you can imagine that it probably doesn't happen very often.

Anyway, it was so nice that we didn't have anything big planned for the entire day and we could solely focus on "just us"! There was nothing to be worried or stressed over and it made a huge difference in our day. I am so appreciative to the people that were able to make it for our special event. Thank you for traveling to Manti and sharing our day with us. And thank you Holly for being the picture taker. I noticed that you are not in very many pictures. :(

It was a really windy day and we started our day early by driving down to Manti with my good friend Ev. Evelyn had just recently received her endowments in the Draper temple only one week before our sealing and I am so glad that she was able to come to her first sealing. The three of us went to our first live session and ate in the cafeteria there afterwards. My mom brought Teagan with her and the rest of our families met up with us in the sealing room that afternoon. It was a crazy, wicked windy day and made it very hard to take pictures. All the pictures of the group we had there has their hair and dresses flying all over the place. It seemed to add to the chaos of having everyone in the picture and looking at the camera at the same time... so, thats why I didn't put any pictures up of the group.

My temple matron... or whatever they call the people that help us along all day... we found out was a long lost relative of Jeremy's family. Her name is Pearl. She is an elderly lady in her 80's and was a feisty little whipper snapper. ha ha. We keep in touch with her and say hello to her every now and again. She said her children live far away and needs more. So, next time we go to Manti we will be sure to stay with ol' Granny Pearl, as she insists we call her.

I wish that I could explain in words what this day meant to me and the feeling I had after, but it is unexplainable. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and all of the blessings that we can be apart of if we choose to live in faith and try our best to do what we know is right and true. I am blessed to have been raised with the foundation of the church in my life and know that it is the only thing that I have to fall back on when things are hard. It gives me direction for anything I need to know. I'm sorry that I feel my thoughts are all over the place. I guess that's what I get for waiting so long to write about my experience. I had to put something up about it though because it was such a big event in our lives.

Cards, Cards and More Cards!

Above is the first draft of my logo, but I have since changed the name from "BoXx'd, Start Your Party" to "Get BoXx'd ...with little Party Intuitions". I am still putting other stuff together for it and don't want to say too much. :) It's a secret still.

I've had an obsession making cards lately. I'm trying to get into the Holy Cow Boutique in November in Pleasant Grove. Here are some of the cards I've done. What'dya think?

Teagan vs. The Summer Outdoor Activities

Yesterday we went to the Orem Scera pool with Jenya and Avery. It is way better than 7 peaks. Especially because it is a lot more mom/kid friendly for little ones. It's only $5 to get in (under 1yo is free). And, instead of it being a huge, all day thing, you can go for just a couple of hours. (However, it still managed to be an all day event somehow.)

Jen took this picture and said that she was sorry for cutting off our heads. lol

Right when we got there, Teagan got tired and onery and got allergies really bad (which I didn't bring the Benadryl). His face broke out in a rash, one of his eyes got puffy, red and watery and his nose started to run. :( I have a really awful picture of it, but I didn't put it up. It just wasn't cute. lol

He was soooo tired! Here he is swimming in this cute little baby float they had there. He loved it. He just relaxed and slumped right over. He even fell asleep. What a cutie!

Since Teagy inherited his father's skin, I had to dowse him with SPF60, make sure he had a water shirt and a sun hat that covered his neck and ears. I'm proud to say that he got out of there with no sunburn. :)

Here is cute little Ave's. She was a lot more excited to see everything than Teagan. She was wide awake.

Congrats Joey & Nadia

Jeremy's best friend got married this last Friday in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. I consider Joey to be my brother-in-law because they are so close... and because Joey pops in all the time (not always the most convenient times...lol) just like part of the fam. We love him and are so happy for him and Nadia. As Joey's brother says, "There is a special place in heaven for Nadia" and we believe it! :) If you knew Joey, that would be a lot funnier. ha ha

This was the first temple sealing I'd been too and was honored to be a part of such a great event in their lives. It made me so excited to get sealed NEXT WEEK! It was such a personal and special day and we were so happy to be included.

Their reception was BEAUTIFUL! There was dancing, music, toasting and more. And since Nadia is from Russia, her parents flew out from Russia for their first time ever to the US. They came in town a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to travel around the western US with Joey and Nadia. We had them over a few Sundays ago and I so badly wanted to talk to them, but they don't speak one word of English. They are the CUTEST little parents I have ever seen. They had such a great spirit about them and I was very drawn to them. Nadia had to translate everything for us. Also, Nadia is a convert, so I kept wondering what they were thinking about all of this temple stuff... especially since they weren't able to understand anything that was said. Bless their little hearts. :)

Anyway, back to the reception... they did some Russian traditions that were new to me and I enjoyed the cultural enlightenment. We hope to travel over to Russia with them one of these days and let Nadia show us the ropes.
