Fat Clothes

I received the best package in the mail this weekend... Prego clothes from my sis (Holly, in NM). Luckily she has already had 3 kids and ample time to build up her maternity collection. My friend Heather also let me borrow all of her maternity clothes. So, this means that I have an entire new wardrobe of fat clothes. Plus they are all super cute! Double Thanks. Yay! It was such a blessing that I did not have to go buy very many new things. Thank you both for being so generous and letting me fatten your clothes up once again. I will take good care of them so that they will be ready for your next kid(s)!

Baby Green

So, this isn’t the best picture(s). It didn’t scan very well and it already wasn’t the best quality picture. But hopefully you can kind of tell what it is. The baby is lying on its side with their little head and back turned towards the camera. Then I labeled the picture below.

Our baby is:

13 weeks along
3 ½ inches long
Weighs 1 ½ oz
Due on January 2nd
Measuring to be due on December 30th
*Our doctor said we had a big baby. I KNEW it! Ha haa However, to everyone's foreboding, we are only have one baby and not two.

Wow… we got there and I was like, “Whoa, there really IS a baby in there! I thought I was just getting fat and feeling sick all the time.” It was quite the reality check for me.

I’m still grasping that it’s really real.

But, I have a ‘premonition’ that it’s a girl. I find out in 3 weeks. Thanks to my little sis, she tipped me off on a clinic in Provo that will do the sonogram at 16 weeks instead of the 21 wks my doctor was going to make us wait. :) Wahooo! I can hardly wait. So... the big "Mystery" will be solved on July 17th. Let's keep our fingers crossed that our little baby green is not turned with their back toward the camera like in the pics below. I would be sooooo sad! I can't wait to start buying stuff.

My next Dr appointment with MY doc is on July 23rd. And my 21 week appoint for "confirmation" of my sneakiness will be in August. He heee

Baby Names

Jeremy and I finally agree on a girl name and a boy name.

Here are the names we have chosen (…unless it changes).

If it’s a boy:

Teagan Amana Green
Amana Means: Sovereign- King, Ruler
Teagan is Irish - Amana is Tahitian
***Pronounced: “Tee-guhn” “Uh-Mah-Nuh”***

If it’s a girl (which it will be):
Kenadi Poema Green
Poema Means: Deep Sea Pearl
*Goes with my Tahitian name which means, “The Life of a Beautiful Black Pearl”
Kenadi is Irish - Poema is Tahitian
***Pronounced: “Kennedy” “Poe-Ay-Muh”***

PS. We have already decided we're not sold on Kenadi's middle name, so we're still trying to figure that one out.

Pregnancy Cravings

MyHotComments.com
MyHotComments

So, I had my first WEIRD craving the other day. I've had lots of cravings being pregnant, but nothing too unusual like this one. What's funny about it is I go through spurts. At first I thought I'd like something for the whole time I was pregnant, but I was dead wrong. I could completely LOVE something and the next day think it's totally disgusting and never want to look at it or smell it again. Ewww...

The first thing I wanted every day was Jamba Juice and yogurt smoothies and berry drinks. I wanted them every single day for about a week and then one day they just repulsed me.

Then one week I wanted to eat nothing but soup and sandwiches. But not any soup, only the really brothy soups, nothing creamy.

Then the next week I wanted to eat strawberries on and with everything. I went through a little bucket of strawberries every day. Carried them around at work with me in a bag.

But the weird one I mentioned above was spontaneous. First you must know that I really don't like to eat white bread. Jeremy always wants me to buy it but I usually only eat wheat bread. I just like it better. Another thing, I do NOT like the processed cheese that comes in the little Kraft Singles packs. I throw them away if they are ever caught in my fridge. Let's face it, it's not real cheese. It's a slice of plastic. But one night we were on our way to my Dad's to watch the Orem city fireworks on his roof, cause he lives across the street from where they fire them off... and on the way there I just really, really, really wanted a sandwich. Not any sandwich, but a sandwich made with the white Wonder bread with turkey, ham, and chicken slices with processed cheese, Sweet relish, lettuce, plain potato chips and Miracle Whip, warmed up. Wow, eh? I made Jeremy stop off at the store and we bought all the stuff for it and brought it over to my Dad's and spread it out on the table. My dad was like, "Wow, isn't this quite the production." Jeremy looked at my sandwich in disgust after eating 2 of them and shook his head saying, "I'm glad you're pregnant and there's a reason you WANT to eat that."

ha ha... fun times, right?

Also, I must add on here how wonderful my husband has been in this whole thing. He has taken every bit of 'weirdness' as it comes and rolls with it on sympathy and helping me. If I woke up at 3am and said, "I want french fries with strawberries"... I know he'd go get it for me no matter how tired or ridiculous he thought it was. He has been sooo great and such a blessing for me. I think my trial with the pregnancy is more emotional than physical. I have had to learn to be less independent. I truly feel like a handicap most of the time and Jeremy never complains (only I do that). Thank you baby! Love you.

Humpherys / Green Open House

Last night we had our reception at Jeremy's brother Shane's house. It was so fun! I'm glad we did it (and glad it's done with). We had it outside in Shane & Sheri's backyard with a balloon guy for the kids and Cold Stone for everyone. It was casual and relaxing. Everyone got to sit out by the pool and mingle while we had our wedding videos playing in the background. I think/hope everyone had a good time. We had about 250 people come which isn't too bad considering we had about 150 people at our wedding and dinner. We have so many Thank You gifts and cards to get out to people. I have them all piled in a bag in my room. (sigh) I don't want anyone to think that we are ungrateful for all the gifts people have given. So, if you gave us something and are reading this, please know that this is one of my goals this next year... to be more consistent on sending things out or getting gifts to people. I'm terrible at it and want to be better. I seriously have some gifts for people that I bought 2 years ago. Uhh... yeah, it's kind of irrelevant now.

Anyway... there are some pic's from the big night below.

Thanks for everyone that came. It was so good to see some of you that we haven't see in forever and for all those that traveled to share our time with us. We appreciate you!
