1 year Anniversary

Can you believe it? We've been married a whole year already! It has flown by. We had a pretty low key day and went to the Marriott in Provo last night to stay in one of their suites. It was the only place that was nice, well priced AND allowed us to bring Teag. I know... not ideal, but we don't think he's ready to stay by himself with anyone over night yet. (I don't think we're ready either.) At any rate, we had a fun night and then we hung out with Brad and Evelyn the next day and went to this amazing little Italian restaurant in Provo for lunch. I think it's called Gloria's Italian Restaurant or something. It's right across the street from Los Hermanos on University Ave. We drove up to Thanksgiving Point to go to the Tulip Festival and then decided that we didn't want to or need to spend another $20 and decided to go home. We were going to go to the temple, but didn't have anyone to watch Teagy, so we stayed at home and watched movies.

...and THEN, I remembered that my mom saved our wedding cake for our 1 yr anniversary. So we went over there and ate it. Hmmm... It was questionable, but we both gulped down a bite.

Here's what the top looks like now.

And what it looked like then. You can see that we ate the 2nd to top tier.

Ok. So we didn't eat the grooms cake for our anniversary, but I thought I'd put a pic of it on here too.

It has been a good year... no, a fantastic year. I love my husband and love my little boy. They are both the loves of my life and give my life meaning in every aspect. I love you guys! To many more years!

Symantec

I like to put updates on here about Jeremy's work because it is a big part of where he spends his life. :) Plus I know that these are the types of things Jeremy would add to the blog.

Symantec, a Fortune 500 company, just became ranked 419 from 461. Here's a LINK to CNN Money to see a little bit about it.

Black Pearls

Jeremy's old mission companion, Gael Sinjoux, who now lives in France, sent us a package in the mail the other day. He sent us... no, ME (he he) a black pearl necklace with 3... THREE... Black Pearls on it. Oh my gosh! They are beautiful! They are each a different shade. He got them from Tahiti and sent them to us. Thank you so much! What a nice surprise! He also sent us a necklace piece which is part of the pearl shell. Jeremy couldn't remember what it was called, but it too is gorgeous.

SuperCross, SLC 2009

This weekend we went to the Salt Lake SuperCross. It was the second to last race of the season and always ends in Vegas the first Saturday in May. I have been going to the Vegas one every year because they haven't had it in SLC for over 5 years and then Governor Huntsman decided to bring it back. They said that they are going to have it here next year too, so I better get tickets. This was the first time that I'd gone to another race besides the last race of the season. I think I thought it was going to be just as big and decked out... at any rate, it was still way fun. I was going in the rain or shine, cold or heat! We ended up wearing rain pants to make it a little easier to tough it out in the wet weather.

I'm too lazy to write about the whole race, but it was such a good one! Click HERE to read about it.

Here's a picture of my #1, Chad Reed. I know, you can hardly see the little blurred image in the corner, but it's him. We sat next to some lady that was drunk and was rooting for Chad's rival, Bubba. Every time I started screaming for Reed, she'd lean over Jeremy and put her hand in my face. It was funny the first 2 times she did it, but then after 4 hours of it, it was really starting to make me mad. Jeremy and I kept looking at eachother wondering which one of us was going to say something first. But, we just stuck it out.

Here's Bubba coming around right after Reed. It was an awesome race with a bad ending! And because I don't feel like retyping it, you can go HERE and read about it.
Me and Jer.
Opening ceremonies. Fire warmed up the entire stadium and ended in the sky with this ring of smoke. We had so many friends here, but none of us got tickets together. Our friends Brad and Ev took this picture to see if they could find where we were sitting from where they were sitting. They kept zooming in on us...closer... and closer...

and closer... until they found us. you can tell that we have no clue they're taking pics of us.

Here is the Davies family. Some of our best buds! Brad and Ev are our adopted brother and sister and their kids are our neices and nephews. We hang out with them all the time. PS. Good news! Ev is a convert and has just decided to go through the temple with in the next month. Woo hoo! This is a HUGE step!

I had a picture of me standing in front of Bubba's trailer with the big #7, but I couldn't bring myself to put it up here. I dont have one in front of Reed's trailer, so I'd be a bad fan if I did. :)

GO Chad!

Temple Day Follow Up

So it's done. I've gone through the temple. I can't wait to go back and take it in as "not" a first timer. I stayed in longer than everyone else that came, so I didn't get a pic of everyone.

My mom and my friend Angie were my escorts. (I stole my pics from Angie's blog since I forgot my camera) :)

This was a big day for me. It's hard to get here. Thank you family and friends for your great examples and encouraging support... and most of all, your LOVE! (sounded like a graduation speech or something. lol. ok. i'll stop.)

Temple Day!

Today is temple day for me! I'm going through!

I'm excited and actually nervous, which I didn't expect to be. Now that I'm entering into what feels like a whole new realm for me, I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not the only one that has done it before. But because I don't really know what to expect it still seems a mystery... and even more exciting to find out. :)

4 Months Old

Teagy turned 4 months old a few days ago. My Dad came over and took some pics of him today. He also had his 4 month appt last week and weighed in at 15 lbs. 9 oz. and was 24 1/2 inches long coming in at the 65th percentile. The clothes he's wearing in this are 6-9 months. Holy cow! He is getting so fun and responsive to everything and has started to smile and giggle a lot. He is such a blessing to our home and to our lives. He has the sweetest little spirit and brings so much life to our home. We can't imagine what are lives would be like with out him now.

I know what you're thinking... we don't look anything alike huh? :)

And the answer is...

I finally thought enough about my answer to Jeremy and if I will marry him or not... you know, FOREVER and EVER! :) ha ha

I gave him THIS last night during our FHE... it's on the last page of the "Teagan's Book" Album that I just posted on our Shutterfly photo site. You have to make it full screen and adjust the options to 1 pg at a time to see it that well.

I ordered it a week ago and I was hoping to give it to him this last Friday, but it came yesterday.

Because of the Easter Outfit

...someone sent me this link. CLICK HERE.

Happy Easter Cluck-Cluck

The Easter Bunny (Papa) already came to our house. And luckily I bought this cute chicken outfit from Babies-R-Us when it was on sale last year. It worked out perfect! Teagan didn't like me putting it on him though. It was a bit of a battle.

What a cute little Clucker! (Jeremy laughed when I put 'clucker' and it's not supposed to sound like what you think. Guys know how to ruin something cute.)

Tomorrow we are going on an Easter Egg Hunt with our neighborhood. It will be so much fun!

Diapers.com

Has anyone tried this site before? It is awesome! I can get name brand diapers on here cheaper than I can get it at Costco. Plus, you get free shipping and can have it delivered to your door.

I also got formula on here cheaper than buying it in the store. And again, it was delivered to my door. How awesome is that? I also got some Diaper Genie refills (same price as in the store), but remember... shipped to your door.

Also, because I'm a member of Melaleuca, I got a 2% rebate on top of the discount that you are already getting.

You can get anything you need for a kid on this site. Wanted to post it. I like it!!! Two thumbs up and two gold stars!

ONE LAST THING I JUST NOTICED:
PUT ME DOWN AS A REFERRAL. I GET A BONUS AND SO DO YOU IF YOU PURCHASE FROM THEM. DANG. I WISH I WOULD'VE SEEN THAT FIRST. :) Copy and paste this link for info: http://www.diapers.com/HelpCenter/ReferAFriend.aspx

Shutterfly Photo Site

Ok, so I have had my shutterfly account for almost 5 years and make photo books and photo albums on it that you can order. I signed up for their free photoshare website so that I could put my photobooks on there when I want to share them.

Green's Photo Site

It is pretty cool! Plus you can make a book and have it sent to you for pretty cheap. I'm finding that the more stuff I can do online and not leave the house with a baby is a plus! So, I've also gotten plain ol' 4x6 prints and had them mailed to me.

Playing with Picasa has also been fun too. You can edit your photos first or make collages and then directly link in to Shutterfly and upload them for order. You can waste hours on these things. It is really fun. Plus it's FREE FREE FREE!

PS. I posted the link on our right side bar so that you can go to it whenever you want or save http://greeneronourside.shutterfly.com into your favorites.
