Space Bag Space Savers

Oh my gosh! These are the coolest things ever! We have soooooooo many blankets and no room for them. I tried to sell them at a garage sale a couple of years ago and all my friends and family are like, "Why would you sell your blankets? You can always use blankets." So, I took their advice and kept them.

Tonight I tried the Space Bag Space Savers that you see on T.V. (Yes, I get things on TV because my mom taught me to.) he heee

Here are the before and after pictures of SOME of our blankets... and this is by far, not all of them.

Voila! It WORKED!

King of Kings

We got this painting from Grandma & Grandpa Grover for our wedding. We recently got it framed and they have been dying to know what it looks like with the frame we chose and where we put it in the house. So, here it is Grandma and Grandpa. Tell us what you think. :)

"This image looks forward to the day when Christ will exchange His wooden staff for a royal scepter, when He will be seen as the Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

"He will rule, not as a vengeful dictator, but as one who said in John 14:2-3: 'In My Father's house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you that where I am, there you may be also'."

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Today was Jeremy's 32nd Birthday! Whoa! :) We went out to a good ol' fashioned MickeeDee's breakfast before he had to go to work and then out to lunch at his favorite little Mexican restaurant in Orem, Maria Bonitas. Then I dropped him off at work again and came back with birthday balloons a birthday bag of his favorite goodies and another bag of ice cream sandwiches for him and his team.

Jeremy was able to get out of football practice tonight so that we could celebrate. We went over to my mom's and Jeremy got a cute new North Face hoody that I can hopefully wear when I'm not prego (ha ha) and Jason made him glasses out of money. Fun!

We're celebrating his bday with his family this next Sunday over at his brother Shane's house for Jeremy's favorite, Banana Cream Pie and ice cream.

Jeremy and I met up with some of Jeremy's best friends at McGrath's Fish House for dinner. Why there? Just because of that fun fish hat that they make you where. :)Thanks for the tip Joey!

Jason & Melinda and their oldest, Cooper. What a cute kid... and so well behaved. :) I hope that I'm as successful as a parent. Jason and Melinda are also in our ward and have been long time friends of Jeremy.

Joey & Jeremy with Jason and Melinda's newest edition, Ty. We are so excited for our little guy to come, and Ty made us so much more excited to have a baby. He is so cute and such a good little baby.

Joey & Nadia. I wish I'd have taken a picture of them looking all hard core on Joey's new motorcycle. They look hot! Joey baptized Nadia recently and they are engaged to get married at the beginning of next year. I can't wait! Also, Joey's sister, Audrey, is the one that did the florals for our wedding.

Travis & Mike: Old roomies of Jeremy's and also good friends. Mike, tell Alicia we missed her. :)

Group Picture:

We finished the night off by going to the movie: House Bunny (Girls choice of course). They guys weren't to excited to see it, but it was funny. What I didn't like about the movie is that I felt like it projected that women can get anything in life if they are hot, even though the moral of the story was to be accepting of everyone. It was kind of skewed. Jeremy feels more dumb from watching it. :)

Hope you had a good bday! xoxo

It's still a Boy! :)

We went to our doctor appointment today to get the ultrasound and find out the sex officially from our own doctor. Even though we had already found out, we didn't say anything. We just wanted to make sure that they told us the same thing the last place told us. I knew if they told us we were having a girl after we'd already found out we were having a boy that I'd be traumatized. :) BUT... we are STILL having a boy... and only one. :)

Today they did all the measurements and looked for anything that may be wrong with him (Spinal-bifida sp?, clef-lip, down syndrome, hernia, etc.). We are happy to report that he's growing well and is healthy. He now weighs a little over 1 lb. and is measuring for a due date of 12/27. :) Yay! Tax Returns! lol

Here is a little picture of his spine.

Here's a picture of his teeny little foot.

This is supposed to be a profile picture of him, but we still can't see where that is supposed to be. ???

Here is the "It's a Boy!" picture. Look for the little 'pointy' thing sticking up, pointing towards the right corner.

Glen Manning & Ivey Peck Family Reunion

Grandma Ivey Peck, Jeremy's Grandma

Manning/Peck Kids: Aunt Jolene, Aunt Marla, Lona (Jeremy's Mom), Uncle Jerry - In Memory of Uncle Karl.

This weekend was Jeremy's family reunion on his mom's side. We had it at his brother Shane's house in Lehi and it was a BBQ/Swim party. Tons o fun!

Jeremy's sister in law, Sheri, also made a DVD of all the old pic's of the grandparents and kids growing up. They told lots of stories and it was fun to learn all about Jeremy's family and their background. After lots of time in the sun (which I actually fell asleep inside where it was cool... it takes it out of you being prego), we went to the cemetary in Lehi where his grandma is buried. I got to talk to his mom and aunt's a lot about their life and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Since Jeremy's parents are the youngest and Jeremy is the youngest in his family, he didn't get to know his grandparents very well. I'm glad that my grandparents are young and still play a big role in my life and can be a part of our lives and our growing family's life too.

PS. Here's a new prego pic of me from the day of the reunion. ...ahhhh no make up.

Ode to my Husband

I'm just sitting here thinking how grateful I am for my husband. He is so good to me and I couldn't have married anyone better. We don't have the perfect relationship by any means, everyone has their problems... but, we have already been through so many hard times - more than people know - and have been able to work through them and become closer as a result of them.

My thoughts on marriage so far? That seems to be the retorative question from everyone these days. Well, I know that people tell you its hard work, but you never know how hard it is til you're in it. I've often thought to myself... is it harder to get married when you're younger, before you're set in your ways, but feel like you missed out on playing OR is it harder when you marry after you're set in your ways and have to think about someone else other than yourself? I don't have the answer and I'm guessing its just different for everyone. The timing in my life couldn't have been better for me though.

Top 25 things that I love about my hubby:

1. Every morning he prays with me before he goes to work... right after he cleans up a bit, makes me a morning shake with my morning vitamins and puts my phone and keys where I will find them (he hee, cause I never know where they are)

2. He sends me flowers for no reason

3. He will stop by at work to bring me a Jamba Juice just because he thinks I might like it.

4. He thinks of me often through the day and calls, texts, emails, or IM's to tell me how much he loves me, even when he's at work.

5. He is soooo attentive to me. Especially now that I'm pregnant, he doesn't make me do anything that might be to strenuous; including the house work and chores that need to be done.

6. He hardly ever calls me by my name. He usually refers to me as, "Sweety, Baby, Sunshine, Angel, and Pumpkin" :) He once called me "tara" and it caught me off guard. I thought I was in trouble or something. ha haa

7. Even when he's busy with work and coaching football, he always sets some time aside for just me and him. He never lets me think that there are other things more important to him than me and our families.

8. He always tells me how much he loves me and is grateful for me. There isn't a day that passes that he forgets to do that.

9. We have the same goals and work towards them together.

10. He is my BESTEST friend! He knows everything about me. I've never had that with anyone.

11. ...and even after knowing everything about me, he STILL loves me. He knows my weaknesses and my soft spots and still builds me up to tell me all the amazing things about myself, even when I don't see it.

12. He loves my family! He always wants to spend time with them and that is so important to me. ...Plus they love him too! (also a bonus)

13. It doesn't seem to phase him one bit about how fat and prego I am. He still tells me every day how beautiful I am. (and I need that right now) :)

14. He is prepared and still preparing to do what it takes to be a provider and eternal leader for our family and I'm so proud of him for how hard he's worked and is working on those things each day.

15. He is spontaneous and is always up for my random rendezvous'.

16. He is soooooooo nerdy! He makes me laugh every day!

17. Although we don't enjoy a lot of the same activities, he's always interested in my interests because he cares about me. He will sit and watch all of the HGTV Design Star with me or John & Kate Plus 8... He'll even go shopping with me for home decor items or run errands with me when he doesn't want to.

18. He will always take our cars to get washed and change the oils and rotate our tires.

19. He will always offer to make me breakfast or lunch or dinner just because he can.

20. He takes an interest in my friends and families lives because they are a part of his life now and truly cares what is going on with them and offers to help where he can.

21. You know how there are some people that are so nice that you wonder if they are really like that all the time? Well, that is how Jeremy is... He is that nice even to me when no one is around to see it. That is just Jeremy. It is one of the things I most love about him. He is so caring.

22. He is definitely the more humble one between us. He is usually the one to say sorry after an argument before I do. It always takes me a little bit longer to come around. I'm grateful for his willingness and effort.

23. He never gets sick of me complaining how uncomfortable or sick I've been through this pregnancy. Not ONCE! And, he never downplays how I might be feeling.

24. He keeps the plants in our house watered. :) (even though some of them still look a little shabby, he always pulls them through)

25. I can't imagine myself with anyone else. He is perfect for me and fulfills needs I had finally come to the conclusion after dating so much, were too high of expectations for myself. But, I was wrong. We still have some much to learn from eachother and with eachother and so many happy moments and trials to come. I'm glad I held out for my eternal companion when I've had so many other opportunities to settle for something less. I am so blessed!

Love you Baby!

Weekend in Bear Lake

This weekend we went on a spontaneous trip to Bear Lake for one day packed with fun! We got up Saturday morning and got ready for some camping and drove up to Bear Lake and camped out in a tent at Ideal Beach. We ate at the Big Bear Lake Pizza Place and went back to set up camp for some S'More makin'. However, I forgot to pack the bug spray and I seem to attract every mosquito in town every time I near one of them. I was running around waving my arms in the air and finally locked myself in the tent and told Jeremy to go get some spray for me in town. I was getting all butt bent about the mosquitos. Jeremy thought it was funny that I got about 30 mosquito bites and not one mosquito bit him. :S ...of course! The next day we rented 2 wave runners for 4 hours each and rode and rode and rode. I think we'd have been good after 2 hours, but since we'd already gotten then for 4, I would've rather sat out in the middle of the lake eating on it before we wasted our time giving them back early. We were exhausted at the end of the day and ready to drive home. Jeremy got some AWESOME rubbed rash on the back of his legs from holding on so tight to the waverunner and I remember asking if they had maternity life jackets (ha ha). I wasn't serious of course, but I definitely dont know how attractive it was. Baby Teagan did good for his first waverunner experience. He didn't complain or get sick once. I have a feeling that he's going to be like his mommy. :)

On the way home from Bear Lake we left the radio off and talked the whole way home. I love those good long talks! It was fun! We are trying to take advantage of every moment for the last few months we have together before we have a baby. I have some pic's but need to get them from my moms house to put up. ...stay tuned.

Ta dah... Here are the pic's finally.
