Congratulations!
Jeremy's cousin Jake and my good friend Jennie just got engaged! Jeremy and I have been with them since their first date and we are so excited that they are finally joining in and getting hitched in June!
Congratulations!
New Calling
Jeremy got a new calling a few weeks ago. He is the Sacrament Coordinator. He gets to go around every fast sunday and collect fast offerings and on Sunday he is supposed to coordinate the passing of the sacrament and all that jazz. He is supposed to be to church 15 min early every week to make sure everything is taken care of... my bishop knows how I'm late all the time and all about my sticker motivation, so he told me to give myself a star sticker every time I make it early with him. :) We'll see how that goes. ha ha
RIP Carrot or Waffle?
I heard some sad news when I was in Cali.
So, a couple years ago I had the crazy idea to get a bunny thinking that it would be a lot easier and less responsibilty than a dog. I really wanted a dog, but didn't think I had time for one. Instead, I went down to the pet store one day and bought a stupid bunny. He was so cute. It was a little baby dwarf bunny and was orange. I named him 'Carrot'. I bought a 3 story cage for him on wheels, a carrying case, a leash to take him on walks, the whole shebang. At the time I was dating this guy who decided that Carrot needed a friend, so he got me another bunny that was white with brown spots. We named him 'Waffle'. So, here I am with two bunnies, Carrot and Waffle; and don't worry... I made sure they were both BOYS so that we wouldn't end up with 5000 more bunnies (which would've happened after watching how many times they tried). I soon found that these bunnies were disgusting! They were NOT cuddly AT ALL. They had long, sharp nails and they never wanted to be held. They thought my carpet was grass and ate it, pulling it up one strand at a time. Despite all of the wood toys I bought them to chew on, they preferred eating the molding on my walls and chipping away at the corners. They also liked to dig and managed to dig a hole in my carpet (it may have been from the grass plucking though too). AND, to top it all off, these stupid bunnies, being the BOY bunnies that they were, they decided to stand up on their hind legs in their cage and pee all over the place. It would end up on my walls and somehow managed to shoot 5 feet away from the cage. WTF? I never could catch them doing it, but it happened constantly. I mopped and cleaned the walls at least 5-7 times a day. It was ridiculous! I put a sheet over their cage, but then the sheet would just smell like pee and then the whole house would smell like pee. (sigh)
Needless to say, the bunnies didn't last long. I even ended up getting Franklin before I got rid of them. I didn't know what to do with them and we couldn't give them back to the pet store. I sure didn't have the heart to just drive off somewhere and leave them. So, I gave them to Mary's parents who live in Provo and have lots of bunnies and bunny cages for them to live in outside. I was so thankful they went to someone that cared for them and about them. :)
*As a side note: You know how bunnies have little pellet poops? Well they would always kick it up out of the cage and I was constantly sweeping. I remember Franklin thought they were treats and him and I would both RACE our fastest to see who could get their first. I have to admit that I didn't always win and he ended up eating them. Gross, I know.
Anyway, to get to my point, I found out that one of them was eaten by a dog! :( Poor, poor Carrot or Waffle (Mary wasn't sure which one got eaten). Even though I didn't want either of those bunnies, I keep imaging one of them squirming away from jaws of a ferocious dog and making their ugly little bunny noises.
One day when my kids want a bunny? You can guess what I will tell them. I will make this story even worse than it is and my kids will be having nightmares about dogs eating bunnies.

Jeremy vs. Teagan
Our new storage shed
So our good friend Joey is very talented when it comes to stuff like this. We traded some stuff and we got a new storage space built down in our garage for our food storage, holiday storage, etc. It's finished now, but we are still organizing and bringing stuff down into it. We got a smokin' deal on a 3 month supply for 2 people at Shelf Reliance with all our food and a rack to put it on as well as an awesome deal on a stand up freezer to put stuff in. I can't wait to take pictures and put up the finished product for everyone to see. I've never been so excited for storage before. :) ha ha
Joey is also going to do closet organizers in all of our closets. I can't wait!
California Valentine's Day
Not only did Teag get to go on his first plane ride, which he did really well despite my anxiety over it, we got to stay Valentine's weekend at the Harmon Bed & Breakfast. :) No really... it really felt like it (minus the fact that we had a baby with us). We got to sleep in late, get a massage every 4 seconds in the big black massage chair (my dream chair), go out to dinner, have breakfast made and chill in the hot tub at my Dad and Mary's new house in Arcadia. It was fun to hang out and spend time with them. It's almost been a year since we were out there. We of course had to choose the ONE weekend to go that it was raining, but we still had a lot of fun.
I got a surprise from Teagan on Valentine's Day. Isn't he amazing? I thought he was sleeping and really he was dialing on one of our cell phones and ordering flowers to be delivered to me with a cute card that said, "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy! Even though I cry a lot, thank you for bringing me into this world. Love, Teagan". What a good kid. :)
We also went to an Elder's Quoram Valentine activity where the guys made us dinner gave us roses with nice and thoughtful cards (mine was the best) and then we had to answer questions about eachother to see if we'd get them right. We did pretty good! :)
And to top it off, no Valentine's Day would be complete with out some homemade sugar cookies. I was so excited to make them and kept telling Mary how much I wanted to make them, and then she ended up making them herself when I was relaxing in the black massage chair. Mmmmm... Don't worry, I was there when it came time to decorate and eat them. I decided to take a picture of them right after Jeremy and I took a bite.
Thanks for the fun Vday weekend!

Twinkle Toes
I had a Twinkle Toes party about a month ago at my house. My friend Chelle came over and air brushed my toes along with some other girlfriends I invited. We watched my wedding video (lol. a must) along with Bride Wars while chatting and catching up with each other. My toes are cute pink and red plaid for Valentine's Day. Here's a pic of all our toesies.
Rochelle does parties or individuals of all ages. Email me if you want me to hook you up with her.
PS. Notice that my feet aren't swollen anymore. Yay!

Are there any cute BOY blessing outfits?
I can't find any. They have a million cute GIRL outfits of course, but no boy outfits. I don't want him to look like a pilgrim or like he was blessed in the 1800's, but there aren't many choices. Below are a few pictures of what everything seems to look like and I'm not too down with them. Anyone? Suggestions?
If I don't find something, I do in fact have a back up, but I thought I'd put it out there since I'm getting down to the wire.

Update on the Dates
Ok. So, Teagan's baby blessing is THIS Sunday, March 1st at 1:00pm in the chapel right next to our complex. I got the recipe for Cafe Rio's Pork and we're having lunch at the Pemberley Clubhouse right after sacrament meeting. Yum! So, come hungry!
As for my endowment date, I didn't realize that I needed to go through all of the temple prep classes which is 8 weeks. So, it looks like it will be sometime in April that it will happen. It will still be at the Provo Temple on a Thursday, sometime between 11am and 3pm since that is when my Grandpa works.
As a side note, everyone asks me why I would want to be endowed at the Provo Temple since it is not the most popular temple for it's "looks". Besides the fact that my Grandpa works there, it is just something that says "home" to me. I used to go and sit there in my car when I would have a bad day and it helped me clear my mind. It has always been a land mark of "home" for me and is comforting. Do you remember when the steeple was orange? I am used to it being white now, but I hated it at first because it just wasn't the same.
Our temple sealing is still set for Tuesday, April 28th at 11:00am in the Manti Temple. *At least, that is the date and time we're planning for. We are still waiting back from the first presidency to for Jeremy's letter from his first marriage. As soon as we get that back, I will be on the phone making our appointment for that time. We would like everyone to go out to lunch right after that as well.
Manti Temple Sealing Room. Beautiful! I love how pretty this temple is.
I have a lot of updates for the blog (10 posts in pending) and will be putting them up this week.

TV Buddies
Jenya is over with Avery and we have found that both our kids like to watch Desperate Housewives while sitting in their TV chairs (car seats) and drinking their milk. :) What little cuties. I took this pic on my phone so it's a little hazy. I can't find the cord for my camera to hook into my computer. Grrr!

7 Weeks Old Today
I was trying to hurry and grab my phone and take a picture while he was smiling. It was a lot bigger than this, but didn't take it fast enough and then of course I couldn't get him to smile again for a picture.
He is now 11 lbs and 21 inches long. He is starting to sleep a LOT better at night... at least 5-7 hours at a time now. Yay! He is even starting to grow out of some of his clothes. He is a super picky baby and is actually onery more than he is happy, but we love him anyway. :) It's like he just wakes up in a bad mood all the time and wants to eat. I think he might have some tummy issues. We have tried every kind of formula and bottle and give him the Mylicon Infant drops and we have found what works the best, but nothing seems to take it away completely. :( Any suggestions? When his is happy though, it melts my heart. I love hearing him coo and gurgle. He actually loves when I just let him lay on our bed. That always seems to make him excited. He gets mad if I touch him or pick him up when he's laying there.
Teagan is starting to look like a baby now instead of a toddler and is a lot more responsive and alert. I can't wait to see his little personality unveiled. We think he's going to be very serious because of his serious, concerned look all the time and be introverted which is totally opposite of Jeremy and me. It will be fun to learn all about him.
